Well it seems life got in the way of all this podcastin’. Find above & below our last two episodes recorded before we went on indefinite hitatus. They were captured around the start of the summer movie season and include our discussion of the upcoming films as well as musings on why film is just so damn poor in 2010. There is also talk of the passing of a film great, Dennis Hopper and plenty of other random waffle.

Episode 13 - Scorsese Special

Its a Scorsese extravaganza this week as we discuss the man, the myth, the coke addict. We kick things off discussing Martin’s immense body of work and few of his trademarks. The Top 5 this week is a combined effort and collates our favourite Scorsese flicks. Next is a little What Have We Been Watching which is capped with a spoiler full review of Shutter Island. Dense.

Episode 14

This time around we are graced with the presence of one Anton Benois. The ‘kooky’ Burton remake of Alice in Wonderland is our feature film along with a discussion of some of his previous work. Seymour is still in the grips of Oscar fever as we breakdown the event and countdown our Top 5 Best Picture Winners. It’s all rounded out with a smattering of What Have We Been Watching which takes in everything from A Single Man to 2012.
